The brief
An operator of serviced apartments needed complete furniture packages that felt like a home rather than a hotel, but were durable enough for guests who stay for weeks at a time.
What we made
We created two Contemporary packages in soft curves, travertine-look tops and performance fabrics: a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom set, each with sofa, armchair, coffee and side tables, dining for four or six, beds, wardrobes and a work corner. Every fabric was chosen to be cleaned in place, and every table top to resist heat and water marks.
From our workshops to the site
Jeddah’s Red Sea port made the sea route short. Each apartment was packed and labelled as its own set, so the crates could go straight to the right unit on arrival.
Delivery
Apartments were delivered and installed in batches, so the operator could open the building floor by floor instead of waiting for the full project.
