The brief
The owners wanted a resort that felt relaxed and coastal without the tired look beach furniture gets after two seasons. Everything had to handle salty air, wet swimwear and constant sun, and the rooms had to open on schedule for the winter season.
What we made
We developed a Summer Beach palette of sand, washed teak and linen, then designed every room as a set: platform beds with raised legs for housekeeping, rattan lounge chairs on hardwood frames, stone-top side tables and wardrobes with ventilated doors. Outdoors, we specified teak and powder-coated aluminium with quick-dry foams and removable, washable covers.
- Standard rooms, family rooms and sea-view suites
- Pool and beach loungers, daybeds, shade umbrellas and side tables
- A 160-cover restaurant with banquettes and loose seating
Delivery
Production ran in phases so the first two floors could be installed while the rest were still in the workshop. Our team installed, snagged and handed over the rooms floor by floor ahead of opening.
