The brief
A new city hotel for business travellers: calm, warm-modern rooms with a proper work desk, good storage for longer stays and a lobby lounge that works for meetings. The operator needed one supplier for rooms and public areas, and a fixed delivery window.
What we made
We produced a Modern package in warm oak and textured fabric: upholstered headboards with integrated reading lights, long desk-and-console units, lounge chairs with side tables, and fitted wardrobes with a luggage niche. The executive suites added a sofa, dining table and a dressing area.
In the lobby, modular sofas and low tables were arranged into small meeting islands so guests can sit, work and talk without feeling on show.
From our workshops to the site
Every room was pre-assembled and checked in our workshop, then flat-packed where possible and crated for container transit. Our forwarders handled the export documents and certificate of origin, and our installers flew in to meet the first consignment on site.
Delivery
The rooms were delivered in two consignments and installed floor by floor by our team, with a final snagging walk-through alongside the operator before handover.
